Web design for Newmarket businesses, easy to call from the driveway

I build custom-coded websites for Newmarket trades, clinics and shops, starting at $1,000. I'm based in Toronto and work with you by video, so there is no travel and no office visit. Most people will find you on a phone, so I build for the phone first. If you only need a single page to start, that's $500.

A site for everywhere you work, not only where you are

A Newmarket business rarely stays in Newmarket. The plumber gets calls from Aurora. The clinic near Southlake sees patients from East Gwillimbury. The shop on Main Street has regulars from Holland Landing.

One site covers all of it:

  1. 01

One clear page for each main service

So the customer finds the exact job and Google sees a page that matches the search.

  2. 02

One plain line that says where you work

Instead of a pile of town names at the bottom.

  3. 03

A call button that stays on screen

As people scroll on their phone.

  4. 04

A quote form with the right fields

So you get the address and the job in the first message.

Do you need a separate site for each town? No.

Who I build for in Newmarket

Four kinds of business, and the one job the site must do for each.

  • Trades and home services

Tap to call, a plain list of the jobs, and the towns you drive to.

  • Clinics and practices near Southlake

What you treat, who you see, and a simple way to book or ask a question.

  • Shops and restaurants on Main Street or Davis Drive

Hours, the menu or what's in stock, and how to find you, all in the first screen.

  • Professionals

Accountants, advisers and consultants: who you help and how to get in touch.

A first website that works on a phone: Moto Moto Grill

To be straight with you: Moto Moto Grill is in Thornhill, Ontario, not Newmarket. It shows how I build for a phone.

Visits from Google search to the restaurant's first website.
224 visits from Google in a month

This is one restaurant's result since its site launched. Every business is different.

The menu page on a desktop and a phone, with today highlighted. Real screens from the live site.

East African BBQ restaurant, Thornhill, Ontario

It was the restaurant's first website. The menu is real text, so it loads fast and Google can read it. A Call button serves the customer who's hungry now, and a catering page serves the one planning ahead. See my restaurant website page.

What a Newmarket business website costs

My prices are public. Starter suits one town. Business suits several, because it adds a page for each service and area. Not ready for a full site? A landing page is the cheapest way in. Hosting is free, for as long as your site is with me.

  • Starter

    $1,000

one time, 2 to 5 pages, about 1 week

  • Most popular

    Business

    $2,000

one time, 5 to 8 pages, 1 to 2 weeks

  • Flagship

    $5,000

one time, 8 or more pages, 2 to 3 weeks

Landing page $5001 page, 3 to 5 days

All prices are in CAD and paid one time. You only pay for your own domain, about $15 to $25 a year. See the pricing page.

Here is my promise. You make the final payment only after you have approved the live preview. If something is not right, I keep fixing it. If you are still not happy, you don't pay it.

Show up on Google, and on the map

The map listing comes from your Google Business Profile, so the profile and the website have to say the same thing. Starter includes help setting it up. SEO Growth is optional later, for sites I build ($499 a month). Here's my Google Business Profile checklist.

How it works, start to finish

  1. 01

    A short video call.

You tell me what you do and where you work.

  2. 02

    Design.

You see the key pages and tell me what to change.

  3. 03

    Build.

I custom-code the site, fast on a phone.

  4. 04

    Live preview.

You check a link. When you are happy, I launch.

Questions from Newmarket business owners

  • No. I'm based in Toronto, and I work with Newmarket businesses by video and email. You review a live preview link before anything goes live.

  • No. One site, one page for each main service, and the towns you cover in plain words. A town gets its own page only when it's a big part of your work.

  • The map listing comes from your Google Business Profile, not from your website. The website should match it exactly, and I tell you what to fill in, but the profile is yours to edit. No one can guarantee a position on the map, so I don't.

  • Yes. A tap-to-call button and a contact form that emails you come with every package. A custom quote form is quoted up front, in writing. See the pricing page.

Tell me what you do and where you work

Send a few lines about the work and the towns you cover. I'll reply with a plan and a free quote. I only take on 4 new sites a month, because I build every site myself.

Also serving Aurora and Richmond Hill.
